The following fees are associated with enrollment at Sahuarita Dance Center:

• Registration Fee: $20.00 fee due upon registration and annually thereafter. This helps pay for administration costs, insurance, bank fees, and other upkeep associated with keeping a business alive.
  
• Dance Tuition: Tuition fee is $40.00 per month for enrollment in a weekly 60 minute class. ($40.00 pays for all weeks in which class is held during the month). After the first class per family, a multi-class discount for dance classes applies as outlined in the table below. Tuition pays for teachers, facility rental, props, music, taxes and a myriad of other items.
  
• Dance Recital Costume Fee: $50.00 fee due on December 1st for each class enrolled except performing teams who will be charged a costume rental fee. This is used to pay for costumes or at least comes close to paying for them. Each year some of the total costume costs has to be subsidized with tuition as well.
• Dance Recital Fee: $25.00 fee per family due on April 15th. This fee goes toward paying recital expenses. We currently do not charge for tickets in addition to charging recital fees like most dance studios. Rental of the recital facility each year costs thousands of dollars. Other recital costs include lights, gels, fog machine, equipment, music, programs, decorations, payroll, etc. While we never make a profit with recital, it is essential to developing a students character and is a reward for all their hard work throughout the year.
  
• Dance Costume Rental Fee (For Performing Teams Only): $40.00 fee due on September 1st. Pays for the multiple costumes used by each student on the performance teams throughout the year. These costumes are recycled as much as possible to keep costs down. These costumes are turned in at the end of the year. Our goal is to use them for two or three years.
• Sahuarita Singers Tuition: Tuition for enrollment with the Sahuarita Singers youth choir is $35.00 per month. Tuition for the choir is not eligible for the multi-class discount.

Youth Dance Multi-Class Tuition Discount

Sahuarita Dance Center offers a multi-class discount to all families. The base tuition is $40.00 per hour long class each month but for families with more than one student or even famlies with just one student taking more than one class, the following discount tuition schedule applies. This discount will be automatically applied to your monthly tuition and results in a significant savings over the base tution fee.

Examples:

For a family with a single dancer taking a three hour long classes a month, the base tuition would be 3 hours x $40.00 per hour = $120.00 per month. With the discount applied, the family only pays $104.00 per month.

For a family with three dancers taking two hour-long classes each a month, the base tuition would be 6 hours x $40.00 per hour = $240.00 per month. With the discount applied, the family only pays $170.00 per month.

The maximum tuition for any family is $184.00 for unlimited classes for all family members.

Adult ballroom classes are based on an eight week session rather than monthly tuition. Tuition Fee for each adult ballroom session is $80.00 and includes two people. Adult ballrom classes are not eligible for the multi-class discount below but adults with children enrolled in dance classes will recieve a $10.00 discount off the ballroom tuition.
